    For the homes that go all-in with lights, bold displays, and eye-catching brilliance.

    Registration Information:

    • Entry Deadline: Friday, December 19th at 4:30 p.m.
    • Public Voting: December 20th–23rd
    • Winners Announced: Wednesday, December 24, 2025 (Christmas Eve)

    Register by emailing Mary Theresa Hanlon at [email protected] with one photo of your decorated home.

    Eligibility:

    Open to all homes within the Town of Souris. Decorations must be visible from the street and safe for public viewing.
    By entering, you consent to the Town sharing your photo and street name for contest promotion and voting.
    Community Voting will go live December 20th. Homes will be listed by street name.

    Judging Criteria (Judge’s Choice)
    • Creativity & Originality – Unique themes, imaginative design.
    • Overall Presentation – Cohesive display, colour choices, visual impact.
    • Use of Lights & Decorations – Effective lighting, balanced décor.
    • Holiday Spirit – Warmth, joy, and festive ambiance.
    Contest Rules
    • Street address must be given
    • Decorations must be safe and comply with all municipal bylaws.
    • Inflatables, music, projections, and themed displays are welcome if they do not create safety or noise issues.
    • Only exterior decorations will be evaluated.
    • By entering, participants grant the Town permission to share photos of their display.
