Description: Join us for a spectacular evening of music and celebration as the Benevolent Irish Society of PEI presents Richard Wood & Friends in Concert as part of its 200th anniversary. Award-winning fiddler Richard Wood, hailed by MacLean’s as one of the Top 100 Canadians to watch in the 21st century, leads an all-star lineup of East Coast talent. Joining him are The Rollo Bay Kitchen Group (Fiddle), Kimberley Holmes (Keyboard), Brent Chaisson (Guitar), and Somerset Studio (Dance), featuring award-winning dancers Alexis MacLaren and Isla Rousseaux-Bridle. Ticket holders are also invited to a traditional BIS picnic from 2:00–4:00 PM on the Show Hall grounds.
