Salvation Army Home Heating Program Assistance

Wednesday, February 4th from 10:00 AM -12:00 PM on the 3rd floor of the Souris Town Hall, volunteers will be available to help with the application form to any resident seeking assistance.

Please bring all necessary documents for application.

2026 PEI HOME HEATING PROGRAM:

To receive up to $1,200 in each calendar year eligible applicants are as follows:

• Residents of Prince Edward Islandfacing hardship inmeeting home heating expenses.

• Applicants will be expected to produce proof of income, address and fuel expenses.

• Applicants cannot be in receipt of PEI Social Assistance.

• Applicants must be Canadian Citizen or have Permanent Resident Status.

• Applicants must fall within the following Income Criteria:

o Single Person Household – $45,000 or less

o Family Household – $60,000 or less

Where income is defined as gross income (Line 15000 of Notice of Assessment)
