Public Meeting for consideration of traffic flow changes to Belle Avenue

The Town of Souris is considering a change to the traffic pattern on Belle Avenue, which would designate a portion of the street as one‑way traffic and/or other options including partial closure.

This proposal is being reviewed due to ongoing safety concerns, including poor sightlines when vehicles exit Belle Avenue onto Main Street. Council has received multiple calls over time expressing concern about visibility and the safety of turning movements in this area.

A public meeting will be held Monday, March 30th at 6:30pm at the Silver Threads Club to hear public input and concerns.
