Please join us in Souris to celebrate Canada Day!! There will be daytime celebrations at CN Park on Pond St beginning at 12:30pm with live entertainment, cupcakes, inflatables and lots more for the entire family to enjoy!
Our FIREWORKS Show will be held at approximately 10:00pm (dark) along the Souris Causeway at the west entrance to our Town. The view is spectacular from any angle around the Colville Bay and Souris Beach Gateway Park!! People come from all around, either walking, by car or by boat!!

Town of Souris Planning Advisory Board will meet to review and recommend on the following:
Justin Cheverie has submitted a request to rezone (amend) PID 100842 at the corner of Chapel Ave., and Colville St. from R1 – Low Density Residential to R3 – Mixed Density Residential. The proposed concept for the amended property would be to develop an additional multi-unit building.
Any recommendation made by Planning Advisory Board will be forwarded to Town Council at their next scheduled meeting.
Planning Advisory Board meetings are open to the public.

The Village Feast, a local non-profit organization, hosts a gourmet grilling event annually for 500 guests in Souris, PE. Steak and lobster is prepared by Chef Michael Smith and friends; with proceeds going to Farmers Helping Farmers, the PEI School Food Program, Souris Breakfast Program, and Coats for Kids.
The word village refers to the intimacy of the local communities we belong to and the global village to which we are all connected.
It truly takes a village; join us July 6th for our 17th annual Village Feast! Located at the Souris Regional School on 17 Longworth Street from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

What is Spud Fest?
Spud Fest is a shoestring, DIY, backyard music festival, established in the summer of 2020. This summer will mark Spud Fest’s sixth year! It’s nothing fancy, but it has a ton of heart. The festival is built on a celebration of inclusivity and creativity, and aims to bring together community members of all ages and backgrounds to appreciate art and music.
Just as there are many varieties of potato, Spud aims to program a wide range of music genres that’ll keep the mashes boogying all day and night long. Spud Fest is a completely non-profit event, with all proceeds besides those required for operation costs to be donated to charity.
Proceeds from Spud Fest VI will be donated to Harbourview Training Center – a non-profit organization located in Souris, Prince Edward Island, which provides on site employment and job training as well as a broad range of support services to clients with intellectual disabilities.

Enjoy live piping, classic picnic fare, lemonade and tea service, and heritage displays.
