Request to Amend/Rezone PID 102817 and 101741 Prince Ave Souris, PE

This is to clearly and specifically outline the proposed changes to the properties identified as PID 102817 and PID 101741. Along with amending the current zoning from M1(Industrial) to R3(Mixed Density Residential), it will also require an amendment to the Official Plan and Future Land Use map from Industrial to Residential as well.

The Town of Souris received an application from Justin Cheverie to Rezone PID 102814 and 101741 located on Prince Ave., Souris, PEI (shown on the map provided) from its current zoning of M1 – Industrial, to R3 – Mixed-Density Residential for proposed multi-unit housing development.  This information is available on our website www.sourispei.com or in person at Souris Town Hall, 75 Main Street.

This will be on the Agenda for the meeting to be held Monday, February 9, 2025 at 7:00pm if anyone has any questions or concerns. (a meeting was held previously in October, 2025 but the advertisement did not clearly indicate the change required to the Official Plan and Future Land Use Map from Industrial to Residential)
