Please read and check the following:
Debris from demolition to be disposed of in an approved site as per the "Environmental Protection Act" and related regulations
I agree to engage Aliant and/or Maritime Electric Co. Ltd. in the removal of overhead or underground wires, wires attached to the building being demolished etc. To facilitate the demolition of such building and to have the same replaced by them, if necessary, at a cost to myself, and to pay for any expenses connected with the removal of same, such as repairs to asphalt streets, etc. If the power has to be interrupted to other properties during the demolition, then permission is required from Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission (1-800-501-6268).
I agree to contact the Town of Souris Utilities Department (687-2157 x 3) to have all sewer and water connections turned off as necessary.
I agree to assume all responsibility for damage to town property or neighbouring property in the demolition of the building.
Safety measures at the demolition site must comply with all Canadian and Prince Edward Island safety regulations.
