The Town of Souris will host their 39th Annual Souris Christmas Parade Saturday, December 7th at 2:00pm.
Our 2019 Parade Marshalls are the U16 PEI Wave Ringette players that won Silver Medals at the National Championships in 2019
They will be riding along with Red House Stables in the Parade.
There will be a collection non-perishable foods for the food bank.
Also there will be collection of canned cat/dog food and non-clumping kitty litter for the PEI Humane Society.
Canada Post will be walking the parade route and will pick up your letters to Santa and they will make sure they are delivered safely to the North Pole in plenty of time for Santa to read.
Our Parade begins on Chapel Ave at the intersection of Souris River Road, continues down Chapel Ave, turns left (east) on Main Street and ends at Eastern Kings Sportsplex. Parade participants are invited into the rink for a warm up with hot chocolate, hotdogs and cookies.
If you are interested in entering a float or entry in our parade, please give us a call at Town Hall. 902-687-2157. Floats, Horses, Antique Cars, Costumed Characters, Bikes, etc. Everyone is Welcome! There is no fee to enter, but we’d love it if you let us know in advance that you are coming so we can be prepared.
