Lennon Recovery House Information Session – Town of Souris

Lennon Recovery House Information Session

Lennon Recovery House Association Inc. (“LRHA Inc.” or “Lennon House”) was established in March, 2017. It is incorporated under the PEI Companies Act, Part II as a non-profit organization. It is the first non-profit in Prince Edward Island to establish an in-patient recovery home of its kind. Lennon House is located in South Rustico, in the former Belcourt Centre, which is made available through the kindness of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Charlottetown. The locale and the program meet specific needs of persons living with and recovering from mental health and substance abuse. It is especially designed for those who heal and thrive in a safe familial environment and an atmosphere of daily living with others in a spirit of cooperation, respect, and creativity. Lennon Recovery House Association offers a number of alternative therapies and exercises. It does not oppose, nor pretend to replace, the formal PEI Mental Health and Addiction services as identified in the PEI Mental Health and Addiction Strategy, Moving Forward Together, (2016-2026). Lennon House provides a complementary program, which is intended to intensify results outlined in that Strategy as they relate to specific-needs clients.

LRHA  will be doing a Town Hall information session at the Silver Threads Club, Souris, October 19th, 7:00 p.m.  We we look forward to seeing you all there.
