From their first performance in 2011, Mi’kmaq Legends has grown and attracted audiences from across Prince Edward Island and beyond. The troupe has become a professional calibre theatre production both provincially and nationally. Mi’kmaq Legends is an ever evolving theatre production where youth use acting, story telling, music, dance and visual arts to bring authentic Mi’kmaq legends to life on stage. Mi’kmaq Legends is Atlantic Canada’s only Aboriginal theatre group. (The Buzz)
