Municipal BYLAWS as required by MGA

As a requirement of the Municipal Government Act (MGA) Municipalities are required to have and/or update certain Bylaws.

Currently the Town of Souris is concentrating on 3 as a priority and they include: Procedural Bylaw, Conflict of Interest Bylaw and Code of Conduct Bylaw.

Two additional Bylaws are also being considered for adoption at this time as well: Emergency Management Bylaw and Records Retention Bylaw

Click on each of the above listed bylaws being presented by Council.

Any new or amended Bylaw requires two readings of Council at two separate public meetings. Our next scheduled meeting will be held Monday, February 12, 2024 at 7pm.
