Notice of By-Election Information
PURSUANT TO THE MUNICIPAL ELECTION REGULATIONS
NOTICE
Public notice is hereby given to the electors of the Town of Souris that a Municipal By-Election will be held on November 18, 2019 to elect the mayor for the Town of Souris.
An advance poll will be held on Saturday, November 16th, 2019 between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm at Souris Fire Hall, 135 Main Street, Souris, PE.
Voting will occur on November 18th, 2019 from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm at St. Mary’s Parish Hall, 66 Main Street, Souris, PE.
Electors must bring identification (ID) or documents with their name and address. Electors can bring one piece of government ID with their name and address OR two pieces of ID or documents with their name on both and address on at least one.
Electors that can not prove their current address can bring two pieces of ID with their name and sign a declaration at the poll.
