Chairperson Joanne Dunphy has scheduled a Planning Advisory Board meeting for Monday, April 8th at 12pm (noon). Meeting to be held 3rd Floor Town Hall, Council Chambers.
There are 3 items to review:
- Preliminary request for rezoning of 40 Chapel Ave by Justin Cheverie
- Development application for an 864 sq ft detached garage at 50 Main St by Andre Malguzzi
- Harbourview Training Centre is requesting an extension of development permit issued January 2023 for assisted living facility on Prince Ave. Currently, our development permits expire 1 year after being issued unless construction commenced. They are expecting to get the green light from their funders soon. A Provincial building permit has been issued.
Planning Advisory Board makes recommendations to Town Council on certain types of development as per our Town of Souris Zoning and Subdivision Bylaws. Recommendations from this meeting will be forwarded to Town Council’s next public meeting for review and approval or denial.
